With so many great options available near Geneva with manageable transfers varying between a little over 1 hour and 4, it can be difficult figuring out where you should go. Of course specific deals on accommodation from resorts will help to make you mind up but here is a quick breakdown of some of the closer resorts should you wish to stay in Geneva itself.

The following 5 resorts are our pick for quick transfer times (all around 1hr) and popularity among winter sports enthusiasts. They are mostly located in the French Haute-Savoie department in the Rhone-Alpes region however we have thrown in one of our favourites at Mont Blanc too. There are a great many more fantastic ski resorts in easy reach if you happen to be staying in or flying into Geneva. All prices and details are correct at the time of writing.

I have only visited Geneva once for a weekend trip and stayed at the Fraser Suites Geneva – Absolutely loved where we stayed and the city was great too. I have always been hopeful about getting back to sample some of the skiing and I will be able to do that in the future too.
